Black Flag was your baby and Origins is your project as well.Join our Discord! Dev Responses /r/NFSRides In Depth Rules and Reddiquette Looking for a Crew? Need for Speed HeatĪ subreddit to discuss the "Need for Speed" racing video game series published by EA. Please Ashraf, you are my favorite Assassin's Creed director. It's either an issue with 1000 series GPUs which is not properly supported as the game was released during the 700 series or Windows 10 as I mentioned before when I finished the game on Windows 7, it was flawless. A lot of people are going to be replaying/playing Black Flag before Origins comes out.

I am a diehard Assassin's Creed fan replaying all the tiotles to get ready for Origins like many of us are and am saddened top see this newly introduced issue.īlack Flag is easily one of the most enjoyable, unique and visually impressive Assassin's Creed games in the franchise, especially on the PC and it would be a huge shame to see such an amazing title go to waste because of this problem. once disabled everything is ok, no more frame drops to 40 fpsĪnd along with all the fellow 1000 series GPU owners, I am experiencing microstuttering on my 1080 Ti regardless of setting which was NOT present when I completed the game with 100% sync in 2014 on a GTX 780 Ti and Windows 7. Upd: It took me 3 hours to figure it out that MFAA is broken in AC3. P.p.s I can't fix FPS drops in AC3 lol, I think I should try Windows 7, who knows.

Just a heads up: D3DOverrider is fully compatible with Windows 10 Creators Update and ACBF.Īnother workaround: get GTX 680 and windows 7 with outdated drivers and you'll be able to use Physx on Max settings. If your game crashes with D3DOverrider and RTSS (MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision XOC) then simply block RTSS overlay (OSD) server in RTSS settings.
Add new profile with ACBF EXEs (SP, MP or both) and set force Triple Buffering + Vsync. Run D3DOverrider and disable global profile, you don't need it. D3DOverrider can help you with this, download this tool, set your refresh rate on 60 Hz and disable ingame Vsync (or NVCP Vsync too). You can't fix it without force Triple Buffering and Vsync. You'll get constant 59-61 fps (I know, this is far from constant lol), but ACBF will not be felt smooth. Honestly I don't recommend it, you can play the game fine with Physx on Low, just don't try to set it to High, Very High etc. If you can't see any improvements with Physx on Low just disable it completely not just ingame, but in NVCP too (I mean you should set your CPU for Physx, this will remove Physx slider setting in game). I was trying to compare MSAA x4 and MSAA x8 but didn't find any difference at all, btw my GPU usage is 25% lower with MSAA x4 so this can increase your performance in 1440p or above. Run the game and max out your settings except Physx and MSAA: set Physx to LOW and MSAA x4. So, I have i7 3770k 4.2 GHz, GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G, 16 Gb DDR3 RAM and Windows 10 Creators Update, Nvidia drivers ver. In short, this game has horrible Physx implementation and incompatibility with both modern hardware and software. Some days ago I was trying to play this game fully maxed out and I just got 40-55 fps all the time on GTX 1080 and i7 3770k with extreme stuttering in 1080p.
